We have a Winegard amplified distribution center that no longer works and need a replacement. When I search the net for a replacement, model VS-0604/6412, I do not find any available. In fact, I find very little.Has anyone replaced theirs? What brand and model did you use?
Thanks!

cep1,
Try calling Winegard at 1-800-788-4417 for RV technical support. Mon through Fri 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM CST. They were very helpful and found a unit that would work on my MH when we had the same thing happen.
Good luck,
Jim

Great idea! I figured it would cost more to fix than replace, but will give them a call.
The TV gets better TV signal with the box off, and the DVD selection simply does not work at all...I have bypassed both until I find a replacement.
Thanks

Chris:
We may have already reviewed this, but please make sure you have 12 volts coming to the Winegard unit. There will be two wires going into a plastic looking plug and the left side as you face the unit that should have 12 volts. If you don’t have 12 volts between those two wires then that is probably why the TV antenna and the rest of the distribution system aren’t working.I don’t know what 12 volt fuse feeds that unit; never traced it down. I don't recall the unit itself having a fuse.
If when you turn the antenna amplifier on then you should have a red LED on the far left as you face the unit. If you get that red LED then you probably have the 12 volts.
