I have been a regular reader of Howard and Linda's journal for about 4 and a half years. During that time my wife (Judy) and I have been full-time wannabes planning our eventual departure date. Heck, we didn't have a RV of any type. If all goes well we will be living in our newly acquired Cardinal fifth wheel by mid March. Judy and I met Linda and Howard on our "shakedown" outing at Gen Coffee State Park located near Douglas, Ga. You can read about it in Howard and Linda's journal entry of Dec. 8-12 ish. I am sure I don't have to tell anyone that have met them how nice and friendly they are. They helped us tremendously. I look forward to meeting members of this forum as we hit the roadways.
Glad you decided to join in. You'll find tons of information here and some great people ready and willing to answer any questions you may have.
Good luck with your full-timing plans.

Thanks to all for your warm welcome.
Laurie & George - I actually started reading your blog a few days ago. FYI the link in your sig does not seem to be working.
Jack - We will not be able to make it out to TX in April. Our first "workamper" job starts mid Mar. I am sure we will make one in the future. I have read many of your post on other forums. always informative

Well, I'll have to also extend a welcome to you on behalf of Jo and myself. Since you have been following Howard and Linda's journal for so long, I imagine you have also been "lurking" on the forums to some degree. Thus, you already know that the folks here are friendly and helpful.
Now, allow me to offer my thanks to you for your military service. As many of us are vets of one service or another, allow an Army vet to give you my hearty "Thanks."
Feel free to ask questions and post comments. Many of us will probably also follow your blog to see how things fare for you. February isn't too far away. Good luck with it all.
