For years, I used a Palm Pilot as my calendar. It died, I got a used one from Ebay which was a piece of junk that never worked. I only have a basic cell phone, not a smart phone. My husband has a Droid but if he's talking on the phone, he can't look at the calendar. So that doesn't seem like a good solution. While I'm in the car, I want to be able to talk on the phone & look at my calendar too (not while driving of course!!). Anyone have a suggestion for an electronic calendar?
Thanks!!

Jo Ann and I use our iTouches all the time. iCal is on both computers and both iTouches, so we add events on the iTouch, and they are automatically synched to the computer. Of course, we're still at home where we have both computers. Once we are on the road, most likely we will have only one computer, so that might be a bit of an issue. Maybe Apple will have a solution by then.

Google's Calendar is great (and free). It not only works well from any web browser (i.e. a PC or Mac) but also can be synced into any iPad/iPhone/iTouch calendar. You can set up multiple calendars and can invite others to view and/or update each if desired. I use it alot for travel planning, itineraries, birthdays & special events, etc. Great way to keep my personal calendar items separate from my work calendar.
Once you sign-up for a free Google account, you can also get free access to the excellent Google Docs service (think Microsoft Office online for free!), Picasa (photo editing and web albums), GMail, Reader, and more.

If you want 2 separate devices you might think about finding an iPAQ PDA. They're made by HP and are pretty much the same as a Palm Pilot except they use Windows as an operating system. New they're a bit pricy but the last one I found was on Craig's List for $150.

I agree - I love Google calendars. And they're accessible on computers and Android smart phones. You can use the daily, weekly or monthly views interchangeably and you can always print out a copy if you need.
And it's free!

One more vote for Google calender! It's wonderful and you can access it from anywhere on anything...even a friends computer. And you sure can't beat FREE

I've got an iPAQ that works great if you are interested. My reason for getting rid of it is that for me I've found it to be a better combination to go back to the old Franklin Planner combined with google calendar and my Droid.

I have an electronic organizer which is much more than just a calender. $15.
