I have been reading the blog for a few years now but never participated in the forums. We will be going to the fall rally (haven't officially signed up yet but will soon) so I figured I would say hello to everyone.

Welcome to the forum.
Glad you decided to jump in. You'll have a great time at the Rally this fall and will learn lots of info about full-timing.

From the central part of Oklahoma, I'll also extend a welcome to you. No doubt that if you've been "lurking" for that long, you already know this is a very friendly site with a lot of knowledgeable people. Some of whom might just talk you into anything.
Now that you've posted your first message, feel free to ask questions or make comments. Every question or comment gives us all an answer or a new perspective. We welcome all of them because that is how we all learn. Why, just today, in researching to answer an individual on another forum, I found an RV park in Amarillo, Texas that has a few sites with fences for those with dogs.
Anyway, it's good to have you with us.

Welcome Jim and Lisa from Texas. You have found a family friendly, experiential spot to get all kinds of information about the RV lifestyle. My wife and lived in West Lebanon, NH in the early 80's and have cool memories of NH. Of course we do not miss the -35 degree weather nor the 30" snow fall. My wife and her sister are going to Rally so hopefully you guys can make a connection. We look forward to meeting you on the road somewhere.

Welcome to this great forum. We are from NH, and started on here before fulltiming asking so many questions, and receiving so much help. From Howard and Linda, and many members...we got many answers. and it gave us the little push to go ahead and take the final step in going forward with our dream. We've been fulltime now for 27 months. We left the New Hampshire seacoast where we lived on December 5, and headed south, and we're still heading somewhere............anywhere........everywhere. We wish you every happiness in your travels...and once again WELCOME. We cannot make the Fall Rally as we are on the West Coast, but hopefully the plan for a 2012 Rally on the West Coast will bring many old and new friends together.
