I am considering taking my next assignment in San Francisco, and although I don't mind a commute, I would much rather ride the train/BART to and from the city. We are in a 40foot RV with our doggies, and just don't think it it worth it if all we can find is a parking lot to live in.Looking for nice RV parks near a commuting line into San Francisco. Any ideas?

Jamie,
I haven't been to San Francisco since 1969, but I did look up the BART website and found a "sort of" map of their system. The link to their map is here:
In the upper left corner of that page is a list of nearby cities that you can click on after comparing with the BART map list of stations.
Hope this helps you some. Good luck out there, and be sure and see Northern California. I was stationed up by Petaluma, CA back in the '60's and there are some nice places to see. Bodega Bay, Armstrong Redwood Forest, Napa Valley and its wineries are just a few things to go see.

Once you get to that page, there is a list of stations to the left that are active links where you can check out more for each station.
Here is the homepage:

Now using the map and all as a guide, then try using this link to RV parks in California:

If you want specifically San Francisco, then this link will help:
