Hi my name is Red. I am a 37 yo fire spinning (poi) psychiatric nurse who works with mentally retarded individuals. I have been married to a wonderful man for almost 3 years now. We have 2 kids who are almost out of high school. We both love camping and have camped mostly in tents or in the back of our truck at the lake. I have asthma and yet I have spent weeks camping at fire festivals and all of my breathing problems go away. I had hip problems and went through all kinds of tests and then went camping and slept on the ground in a tent for a week without even an ache. Stress it is all stress related. So I think that a life on the road out in nature is perfect for me. We currently rent a home and once the kids are out of high school we plan to move into a TT or something of that nature so that we can get started at least as weekenders. We both still have to work until I am 52 and he is 55 so that we can ensure our pension. We both don't want to wonder where our money will come from when we are 70 and 80. But we want to weekend as much as possible. And living in a TT will help keep some expenses down and will cut back on time spent packing and unpacking. Come Friday afternoons we want to hitch up and go.
I am very grateful for this forum.
I am learning alot. The hubby and I are both excited and wish we could go now.

Welcome to the fourm!
Lots of people here can't full-time yet, but want to camp as much as possible.
Hope we can answer some of the questions that will come up as you get into RVing.

Welcome from another Texan and a Louisianan!
I've thought that going full-time would be great for years, but until I found this site I had no clue that we could actually make it happen! We hope to be on the road right after the end of year holidays.
