Reviews are mixed so I guess more research would be needed. Good Luck.

We are volunteering in the park itself for the National Forest Service at one of the cabin camps. They lease out the other campground to a commercial company. We've been to it, but haven't spent any time there. They told us they aren't too busy. It looks nice and they have a pool.
The area is very busy and the traffic is terrible all the time. If you have any questions you can email me off the forum.

It is close to I-95 and easy to get to. The sites are smallish, you can get a 40 ft RV there but it will take up the whole length of the site. Sites are pretty close together, the CG is an old one, designed years ago for the small RVs that existed at that time.
It is heavily wooded and fairly expensive compared to average campground prices. It is close to Washington, DC but the traffic in and out of the city is horrible during rush hour.
The CG is clean and well maintained, they have, as Fred said, a nice pool, some sites are not FHU, but there is a good dump station on the way in-out. Also propane is available.
All in all, a pretty good place to stay, I have stayed there in the past and would stay again.
Best Regards!
Thanks,
Betty
