Being a camp host requires many talents, but there is no Red Cross on the side of my rig. If I had a dime for every camper who knocked on the door over the years asking fo band aides or other medical supplies, I would be wealthy.
Please folks, buy a nice first aide kit and take it with you when you go camping.

Wouldn't leave home without it.
Have good sized kits in all vehicles, RV, home and garage.
Even have a small one on my golf bag that has come in handy a couple of times.
Also have my 1960's era Boy Scout Handbook in my truck...never know when you might have to build a lean to, make a compass with a leaf and needle or identify Poison Oak. It has come in handy a couple of times. Especially for tying knots & identifying animal tracks.

Now that's a good idea! I'll have to see what I can come up with. I bet I could find one on ebay.

Two first aid kits in the 5er (and I am going to make up one for Maggie the dog before we leave in July), one in the truck, two in the house and one in the office.
I have been looking for a dog first aid book - gee, guess one for humans might be a good idea, too!
