i tried quail eggs for the first time when we were in the rv 3 weeks ago and you know what i am going to go that way from now on we arent gonna have a great big fridge so quail eggs are very tiny but will fit into a tiny fridge as well hard boil for egg salad just about 5 to 8 of them or ya can just pop em for a snack thats what i do at home i hard boil about 72 at a time and keep them in the fridge with the shell on untill i peel one to pop it the kids love them and their size! i had a gastric bypass and lost over 200 lbs so 4 of them fill me right up!

Ok...I mentioned this post to my wife last evening while at the grocery store. She said EEEW! She's never had 'em nor have I. But the question arose "Where on Earth does one get Quail eggs?".

Quail eggs are common in the stores in South Florida. Unless they taste a lot better than regular eggs, I can't see the benefit of them unless they are used for special occasions. But you have perked my interest and I may just get some for a salad to see how they taste!

Seems like, with quail eggs being smaller, you'd have to work a lot more to acheive the same amount of egg. Just my thoughts.
