Hi all: Dan and Tricia here....just starting out on all of the preliminary work to start on our journey to get on the road in the next 18 months....We have already signed up for the Rally in SC in April and are looking forward to meeting new people and learning tons! No RV yet but do have a new Dodge 3500 cab/chassis that Dan is upfitting. Will be bring the Harley and Tigger the cat along for the ride. The Harley is ready; Tigger, however, is wondering why we are glued to the internet lately!!

Welcome!
Well, looks like North Carolina is going to be very well represented in the Palmetto state at the Rally.
We’re from the part of NC that sends money to Raleigh and gets little back in return.J
Looking forward to seeing you in the “other” Carolina at the Rally.
Safe travels!

We're going to have quite a few from NC, we're in NC, but after Monday (March 1, 2010), we'll be anywhere we park. Good to have you on the forum and see you at the Rally!

Welcome Dan and Tricia,
Looking forward to meeting you at the rally!
We will be in site#2.
Looks like lots of Tarheels will be attending. We are from Illinois now but did live in NC for awhile just north of Raliegh (Henderson/Oxford) area.
This is our first rally with the 'dreamers' though we've been lurking about since 2006, when we met Howard and Linda at a seminar, bought our rig in 2007 and now organizing for extended time RVing as a result of early retirement.
You'll find this is a very helpful 'family'!!
Hugs, C

Another fellow North Carolina welcome. Evin and I will also be attending the rally in April and look forward to meeting both of you.
We just purchased our first 5th wheel and we are in the process of buying a truck. We visited 6 rv plants in the Elkhart area before deciding on a Mobile Suites 38RESB4. The factory tours were an eye-opening experience. Would encourage you to do the same and schedule the visits before the lines are shut down at 2PM. You will rule out some companies that you might have bought from before seeing their building process. I will send you contact information in case you have any questions.
