Hello everyone! I have been a fulltimer since 1994 and presently work camp at Yogi on the Lake in Mississippi. Made the decision to jump in and introduce myself. I am a solo rver and started this adventure with the desire to explore this wonderful lifestyle. I had actually started with WKN in 1988, then my first adventure brought me to Michigan in 1998 as an Asst. grounds manger. Then went to Florida and worked as a delivery driver for a glass company. In 1999 the hitch itch bug bit me again. Spent about 18 mos, refurbishing a 1975 GMC Class C and in 2000 found employ for a Campground in North Hudson NY as a maintenance man, as this was 70 miles from family members and my 2 days off made it easy for reunions. Returned to Florida, In the Spring of 01, located employ with a Golf cart company as an Event Rental Rep, which in turn lead me to a Field Service Technician as well as Refurbisher. I acquired hitch itch again and the white line fever set in. So at present here I am again, parked working as a golf cart service tech., and whatever else the managers need done. I know now, that when the itch and fever sets in there are plenty of employment options for us to fill. And by the way I still have 6 years before retirement kicks in. SO WELCOME ALL NEW, OLD & FUTURE RVERS! Happy Trails, PIEERE

Myself (Paul), Barb my wife and Sarah my 24 year old autistic daughter hope to start our own RV dream soon. Both my wife and I are gypsies at heart. I have had a military career including extended stays in Texas, Washington, DC, Hawaii, South Carolina, and New York where we current reside at Fort Drum. Last fall we bought a 31 foot Coachmen Leperachaun Class C, which unfortunately sits covered with snow in our backyard. I hope to retire in 1-2 years. Barb is not totally comfortable going full time, but has agreed to extended travel once I retire. I hope we will spend more time on the road than at the house we are buying in Bayou Vista, Texas on a canal that leads into Galveston Bay. It has plenty of room to park the RV and no covenants against RV's (they are everywhere in the community). I love hiking, jogging, tennis, photography, computers and playing the piano and synthesizer. Barb is into needle point and bicycling. We both love watching old movies on TCM and listening to talking books from Audible.com, especially science fiction. We are looking forward to meeting many of you at the Rally in April and I hope to get my own blog going by then at www.bluestarvoyager.me (i'm planning to write a science fiction novel called Bluestarvoyager when I retire).
