I'd like to thank everyone for suggestions and support for the last four years as we waited to go fulltime. We now have our RV and we're in our first RV park in Clayton, NC. DH will still work till beginning of February then we'll be off to Rockport, TX.
We're in our first days of learning the gadgets and buttons of the rig. It's cold and we're trying to keep warm. We're learning how to get hot water and how to work with the water in the tanks and not have a frozen hose. I'm sure we'll be posting questions in the forum as we move along.
We hope to see the RV-Dreamers on the road. We're both excited to meet with you.

As someone who has already seen your gorgeous new home, I must say that I doubt it will take you long at all to figure all that stuff out! You both seem to have a very good handle on what you need to do and how to accomplish it.
You will do just fine! Have fun and enjoy your time as you learn. Before you know it, you'll be experts...just in time to help us when we're finally ready!!

Welcome to the world of fulltimers. It is a wonderful lifestyle that we so much enjoy. Y'all have researched and inquired about many things ahead of time so you have already avoided mistakes that many new rvers have learned the hard way. We wish you the best as you get the hang of everything. Stay warm up there in your trailer. It won't be long until you can leave that snow and sleet and head for a warmer climate. See you down the road.
God bless,
Allan and Jeanne

Jim and Dee,
Congratulations and welcome to the lifestyle. I hope that you enjoy it as much as Linda and I have.
Once you get rid of that J*b, you'll really be free. Hope to meet you down the road sometime.
