We've used the Purex 3-in-1 laundry sheets in conventional washers and dryers, and they've worked well. It seems that they would be perfect for use in washer/dryer combo machines. However, if they have sufficient detergent and softener for use in standard size conventional machines, is there too much for use in the small combo machines?

The combo units use less detergent and need HE detergent. Do the Purex sheets come in HE? If so a pair of scissors would let you cut the sheets in half or even thirds.
Edit: We rarely use dryer sheets because we often have microfiber and/or towels in the wash since dryer sheets mess them both up.

I was subsequently advised that dryer sheets should not be used in combo machines. Another poster said the same thing about using the HE detergent, and then using white vinegar for fabric softener, which I have done for decades. So, I'm ready to roll, laundry-wise that is.

I was also instructed not to use dryer sheets in combo W/D and I, too, only use HE liquid detergent. 2 years...and things are working great.
