Hello...I just wanted to say how glad I was to find this site today. My husband and I have been talking about going fulltiming next year and we have some questions that I am sure will be answered by people in this forum. We have been retired since 1995 but due to having to be a caretaker to an elderly mother, we were not able to go on the road full time. We have been avid campers since our marriage 32 years ago. We started out sleeping on the ground covered with tarps, then onto tents and three different travel trailers. We took two different trips to Alaska in a 23 ft travel trailer with three cats for three months at a time. Two years ago, we finally purchased a 35 ft 1998 HR Endeavor MH. and have made two three month trips in it with our fuzzy kids. One of the trips was to the East Coast to go Leaf Peeping. What a wonderful trip. Since we survived three months in Alaska in a small trailer, we know that we will be able to survive fulltiming together. We love traveling to new places and making new friends on the road. We have found that RV people are some of the friendlest people in the world. I am starting the process of sorting through all the things we have accumulated in the past 32 yrs and deciding what to give away, sell and throw away. Fun...

Great to have you "onboard" so to speak. Yup, lots of us have decided that fulltiming is the way to go. You have come to the right place for a (MRV degree) Masters in RVing.
As for us, we should be on the road in approximately two months. See you down the road.

I can echo many of the comments of the others in welcoming you to the forums. It has been a great source of information for me as well.
I do recommend reading back through Howard and Linda's jounal entries, including the ones they wrote that were prior to actually going full time. There is a lot there for preparation work. As for me, I "copy and paste" each of their journals into Microsoft Word so that I can have access to their knowledge even if I can't be online at the time of the interest in a topic.
Feel free to ask questions. You will get the benefit of a lot of knowledgeable people.
