This morning's breakfast and good-byes had my eyes welled up to the point of embarrassment until I looked around, then I really lost it. I wasn't the only one crying.
Who'd a thunk it?
We just met these people a week ago. How did we get so close, so quick? The answer to that is really quite simple...
...we share a special bond because we share a common interest. And let's face it, RV Dreamers are all just really great people who are as warm as sunshine.
My thanks to all of you who answered our many questions and didn't mind one bit taking the time to help us along the way. We enjoyed playing Mexican Dominos one night with a really fun group of our new friends and felt like we've known them forever.
Our utmost appreciation of course, to Howard and Linda for bringing this beautiful family together and welcoming newbies like us into the fold with open arms and warm hearts.
Also, they couldn't have chosen a more perfect setting for the rally. We love Buckhorn Lake Resort!
Until we meet again...

Meeting everyone at the Rally and learning so much was such a wonderful experience! We can't wait to start full-timing next May. I'm just sorry we didn't have enough time to get to know everyone - ..staying in the motel in Kerrville had it's disadvantage. We so look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in the near future...looking forward to landing in the same spot and picking up where we left off. 'Til then...Happy Trails to each and everyone of you!!

We are sitting tonight just north of Nawlins. We pushed the bus to Beaumont and now Nawlins. Two more days and we will be at the house for sale!!!
Howard and Linda, you did for many what LOW would not have fully accomplished. And, it showed that it was a true labor of love!
Hope you made a few bucks to further your dream!!!

Same here. It was great to meet and visit with such a wonderful group of folks who share the same dreams and passions. I had a great time at the rally, and I believe I found a spot to come back to and get away from the SD winters. Good news is that everyone is so upbeat and takes each day as it comes. I look forward to seeing you all again. May you all have tailwinds.

I can't wait until next year when Zach and I can come. I would love to meet everyone. :( So sad we couldn't be there this year. It sounds as if we missed one heck of a time. :)

DITTO! It was a long drive home, and our sadness increase with each mile closer to home. And then back to work today...what a let down! But the rally was great and the people even better. We're so glad we decided to go and I would recommend future rallies to everyone who has the opportunity. Thanks to H&L and everyone who made the time special.

Ron and I also had a difficult time saying goodbye to our wonderful new friends. Amazing how you can get so close to people in such a short time, huh? I know we will meet up with some of you down the road someday soon.

We are now back in Indianapolis and miss all of you so much! We want to thank everyone for answering all our questions and offering us so much encouragement and support. We especially enjoyed the open house. Everyone was so willing to show us all their "tips and tricks" in how to enjoy this lifestyle to the fullest
Howard and Linda's presentations were fantastic and they provided such great information. We are so grateful that you are out there and that you brought us all together! We are sending you a great big hug!
We are now back at work . But, we are hopeful and feel more secure as we prepare for our big adventure. We are choosing the road "that means the most" to us and we are very thankful to all of you!
Happy Trails... Plese keep in touch.

Ann and I are back in Houston. We regret having missed the Sunday morning breakfast and goodbyes but we had to be on the road by 8:00 a.m. to make it home for a Sunday evening commitment.
Ann is following up on some of the "favorite gadgets" she saw during the rig tour and the "gadget show & tell" evening. Mo, she has been looking for the paper towel holder you showed her in your rig but has not been able to find it yet. I think she may be hot on the trail of a similar contraption.
I'm back at work, workin' for da man and but plottin' for the day I can say adios. For this weekend I am thinking about starting to plan to put into motion the Speedhitch approach to rv cleaning and waxing. I still chuckle to myself when I recall that great presenation.
Howard & Linda, thanks for all the great informaton and patience in answering some very basic questions. The rally struck just the right balance of education and socializing. It opened our eyes to some issues we had not considered but also gave us a greater desire to "hit the road". We hope to make the next rally if our schedule will permit.
Thanks to all who made this rally the fun and useful event it was. We made so many new friends and look forward seeing you all down the road.

In order to meet commitments at church and with family, we had a four day, 1,281 mile marathon across I-10 with one detour up I-65 to visit a long time and ill friend.
We arrived in Jacksonville after 8:00 p.m. Wednesday with a severe case of diesel lag! We travelled east with the storms, but seeing everyone and being a part of the Rally made the month long sojourn more than worth the marathon.
What a week in Kerrville! Thanks again everyone, especially Howard and Linda! Rex and Choco loved meeting Buddy, Ed, Noron and Trixie and others they did not get names. There were some very special people there and times to be had.
