I don't post much but I had to brag a little. I changed the plugs in my 06 Dodge Hemi myself and it only took me two and one half hours. I am by no means a mechanic. Pep Boys wanted 345.00 plus tax to do the work. The plugs cost only 45.00 soooo that means the labor was one hundred dollars per hour labor. They said it would take 3 hour to do the job. A little of my time and I kept 300.00 in my pocket.

I like to hear stories like this one. Unfortunately they usually give me the courage to get myself in trouble which turns out to be more expensive than if I had gone to the pros in the first place. Clint Eastwood ( I think) said " a man's got to know his limitations" and after 60 years I've finally started to figure out some of mine.
