Hello everyone, my wife and i (virgincarp) are in our late 40's, we have always loved the road and are ready to commit, we plan on keeping our home and renting it out long term. My camping experiance began in my late teens as a tent camper, finally after 5 years of tenting across europe and the us, i graduated to a 1971 VW pop top camper, that was followed by a 17ft travel trailer (CASITA). Our next step will be a 40ft motorhome, (toy hauler) we will be hitting the road with our three cats, i figured the garage will be a good place for the litter box and a smart car. Anyway i look forward to becoming a part of your community, learning and teaching, warm regards, Gene.

Hi Gene
One new member to another....welcome. I'm sure looking forward to getting started. Just waiting for things to finalize. I suppose it doesn't really count but I have over 25 years commercial fishing from N. Cal to Alaska. It's kind of like camping.
This forum has been a great source of information and opinions.

Welcome to the forum!!
Great bunch of people here, willing to help you with your dream in any way they can.
Back in the 70's, I had a 67 VW camper and traveled all over the US with 3 kids and a wife in it. It was crowded, but we sure had fun and saw a lot of sights. The kids still talk about those trips.

Welcome. I'm brand new too. We'll be started on our journey as soon as our house sells. We will be staying in one place primarily because my husband is in the AF and we don't have the option of traveling too much, but it's an adventure we are ready to start now. Good luck on your adventure.
