Our 5th wheel has a 40 gallon fresh water tank. It's a new '07, is there something specific I am to do with it before using it? Someone said to fill it with water and bleach and then drain and then rinse twice. Is that right?

We didn't do anything when we got our new rig and the water tasted fine. It's probably best to put in some water and see how it tastes compared to the same water from the source. If for any reason it's off. put about a cup of bleach in and fill the tank to full, it would be best to drive around a bit to really slosh it around. Empty it out using all your faucets to clean the lines. You may have to refill and empty a few times to remove the taste residue of bleach. If nothing was put in your tank, it may be OK even though it's sat for 2 years. Good luck,
