Linda and I are really happy for you and Sherri. It's a great life and we're sure you're going to enjoy it.

Joe,
Will your nickname change to "slowy" now that you have retired? Guess that would be true only if the reason you were called Speedy was because you worked fast.
At any rate, enjoy every hour of every day doing every thing you have ever wanted to do but could not because you were working!!

Speedy,
Rumor has it you miss work. There you go after one week talking about getting a job and going back to work.
Doing house work makes you want to go back to the other side of life? I thought you were one of us!!!

OK let me clarify W O R K ...something you do to make money ...usually a 40 hour endeavor done each and every week of your life for a paycheck. Now let me tell you that working 3 days every other week and having your travel expences paid is not W O R K....I like to think of it as a way to even out my life style and keep me in Ice Cream and Beer...without tapping into the budget money. OK so I like to have a little extra...when your poor and you want extra you have to W^*k.

Congratulations, Speedy.
For some time, I have enjoyed your comments and wished to meet you, just so I can see if you are as .......... as I think you are.
I knew you were going to be retiring, so I was hoping to meet you at the October RV Dreams rally.
But, alas, I have to confess that the mountains are again calling me. So, Jo and I will have to miss you, but we'll have two lovely weeks up near Pagosa Springs. In fact, just a few miles from V.A Poma Ranch where Howard and Linda workkamped last year.
So, the face to face will have to wait for now.
Good luck with every thing you do. You've earned it.
Terry

Terry----Take it from me, Speedy is the exact same in person as he is on the forum. He is as funny and genuine a person as you will ever meet. One great fellow that I am proud to call my friend.
