Gotta family get together in Arizona next month. Anything I should be awarw of? Traaffic? Etc,?

Beware of the awesome scenery! A little cue of from where to where via what roads might get more responses....

We just spent some time in Arizona including Holbrook, Flagstaff, Williams, Sedona and Phoenix.  I 40 was no problem, although rough in places west of Williams toward California (big heaves in the pavement - worse in CA!).  We didn't take the rig to Phoenix and Sedona, just left our 5th wheel parked in Flagstaff and took the truck.  I-17 has some pretty steep grades and high traffic volumes, depending on time of travel.  Southbound and northbound we saw a few Rv's and trucks pulled over on the shoulder.  In Phoenix - construction on I 17 increases traffic worries with lane closures.  Agree with RV Dude - take your time and enjoy the wonderful sights!   Linda

If you can avoid the lower elevations at this time of the year you will be happier. Places like Show Low, Flagstaff and Grand Canyon are higher elevation and have better temperatures than Phoenix, Tucson or Yuma. Some friends are in Arizona right now, http://www.mytripjournal.com/wiseman15, but staying at higher elevations.

I agree with Bill.  Parts of Arizona can be unbearably hot this time of year, so you'll be better of at higher elevations.  I think the average temp in Tucson in June is somewhere around 100.
