I don't have a trailer yet, but probably will in 2 years or less, and plan on full timing. My online business is taking off very strong, and as people say, you can live anywhere with an online business, so I say, why not live everywhere? I have been eeking by in the SF Bay area on a 'mere' 40 grand a year, working more than 40 hours, and 'affordable' housing in my county is often a travel trailer parked in someone's backyard for $700-$800 a month... so I figured, why not buy my own trailer, and drive away? Sound like a plan!
Anyways, I am doing as much research as possible, and the forums are definitely a learning tool. I have been printing out pertinent threads to make my own prep book. I may be asking questions sometimes, too.
I am thinking of either a new Ever-Lite Green trailer, a Starstream, or a vintage Avion or Airstream, remodeled for one full timer. I need satellite internet (BTW the threads on that subject are enlightening!) and a good tow vehicle. Also solar panels. By the time I go, I should have my online catalog (books, CDs, MP3 downloads) mostly done, so I won't have to be online as much as I am now, and not so much heavy uploading of big files. I may be making the rounds of New Age Expos with my products and promotion, and that way, maybe I can take some travel costs off as business expenses, and have some destinations and make contacts and friends.
Anyways, that's the loose knit plan for now! thanks for listening, and perhaps I will see you on the road soon!

Sherri and I have done much the same. We still work and threw off the stix and brix and moved into our RV fulltime....we love it and can't wait to retire in two months and head out.
Good luck to you and your Dream....from 2 Dreamers
