Hi All,

Just wondering if everyone decorates their rigs for Christmas. Part of the joy of the holidays is driving through the neighborhoods and seeing the sights of Christmas.  I'm guessing FT'ers do the same.

Hi Rick,  It's supprising how many folks decorate within the RV lifestyle.  Due to lack of a great deal of storage space, we only carry a wreath and a few strings of lights to outline the shape of the 5th whl.  1 box holds an 18 inch wreath and all the lights I care to put up.  All blue lights.  I like it!  Some folks decorate bigtime!  I don't know where they keep it all.  What ever it takes to make it home.  Have a Wonderful Christmas.    Dave         
                                                                                                      
P.S.  The 1 inch suction cups (50 per package) stick on the fiberglass siding just great.   They have a slot in them to stick the wires to.   None have come loose yet!

In our four years on the road, we have never decorated. I just can't spare the space for something that would be used only once a year. Often we're moving around anyway so wouldn't decorate then. Just call me Bah humbug!

We have a 3 ft. artificial tree. We try to find ornaments while visiting different areas, so our tree is truly a statement of our FT travels. All of the decorations fit in a large ziplock back, so storage space is minimal. We have seen many RVs decorated to the hilt, but they must have a storage area somewhere other than the rig!

We have a decorated 3' tree that is bungee corded to our computer table, a string of lights across the bottom of the windshield, (On the inside), a large wreath on the front of the MH and another on the back, 2 small wreaths on the inside of side windows, and red bows tied to some of the cabinet handles inside of the coach.

We travel with all the decorations in place, and haven't broken anything in the last 7 years.  

The old Beaver rides pretty smooth.

We didn't bring any decorations with us, but as some cards have started rolling in, I've used blue tape (the kind that doesn't stick to paint) to stick the cards on the cabinets around therig, and it's stating to look quite festive over here!

We have a big red bow on the front of the rig and a couple of Santa hats over the mirrors. On the inside we have a 3' fake tree that uses fiber optics to light the ends of the needles. But you can only see the tree at night from the outside, due to the windshield screen.

Since we are in Tucson for the winter, we just picked up a string of chili pepper lights from Michaels craft store and wrapped it around the fence on the door side of the rv.  We figure we can use them throughout the year.  The RV park we're staying at has decorated the rec hall with a tree, lights, and wreaths.  Many of the rvers have decorated their rigs.  Some have wrapped the lights around the front stabalizer of their 5th wheels so it looks like a tree at night....Rvers are so clever :)

Tinsel, holly, lights, a few window stickers and a flat Christmas tree does the job for us along with our Christmas movies and CD's.
