Hi Everyone, As a new member, I wanted to tell everyone how pleased I am to find a forum that encourages and educates those who dream of living the RV lifestyle. My name is Ben and my wife, Ruthy and I have been dreaming of getting out of the rat race for the last couple of years, and taking our lives on the road to explore and enjoy this beautiful country of ours while we are still relatively young. I own a sign company here on Long Island, NY for the past 22 years that specializes in carved 23kt goldleaf signs for villages, schools and churches. Even though I do enjoy my job, it's a constant struggle to keep up with the finances of paying employees, insurances, taxes, mortgages on both my home and workshop building, and the day to day stresses of juggling all of this, while still having a positive outlook. My wife works as a rep. for a large health insurance carrier. I've done my research and came up with an feasable exit strategy. Our plan is to sell the business, building and our home within the next 3-5 years. Buy a KZ Escalade Sportster toyhauler and a Ford 450 diesel truck (at the minimum), load up our motorcycles in the RV garage and our Bernese Mountain dog Benson and his little Maltipoo pal Nikko in the truck and head out into the wild blue yonder. We are planning to use the toyhaulers garage as a workshop for our internet digital sign business (www.gulliversgraphx.com) If all goes as planned, we should be able to be on the road well before we hit 50! We can't wait! It's so great to have a website that proves it can be done and motivates us to keep our dreams alive. Ben

Sherri and I would like to welcome you to this forum. We can always use a sign man here to brighten up the posted topics...23K gold that should make a statement. Don't be shy jump right in and give us your opinion and ask questions. We all learn from each other...that is what this is all about.
