It has lots of great information about the National Forest Land and campgrounds located there.
So many great places to go see in the US!!

Our only experience camping in a National Forest was in Ocala National Forest, Salt Springs CG.  We enjoyed it very much and hope to go back again when we get another RV.  That area is much different than southwest Florida where we live.  The trees and hills are a welcome change from seeing nothing but palm trees and flat land!

Now if we could only sell our condo we would be ready to roll on a fulltime basis!

Here in Colorado, dispersed camping is also allowed in the Nat'nl Forests. This means that you can camp throughout the forest (not just in campgrounds) in spots where others have camped before. In this situation, you're boondocking, of course. My hubby & I do this all the time and love it.
