Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello I bought a 5th wheel from Russ Andrson of Americana RV. Yes I would buy from him again. We bought a 2001 33 ft rear kitchen and picked it up at Easter 2001. Russ Anderson is the most knowledgeable person I ever spoke to about RV's. I had some very specific questions about suspensions. I wanted Alko Axles-no problem-he only had them manufactured that way. At the time he was using Forest River to manufacture to his specifications. The only warranty issue I had was the propane regulator was leaking. I was in the Keys on a trip and I bought a new one and installed it and Forest River refunded my money. There is only a few things I would do different if I ordered a new fifth wheel-air ride suspension and disk brakes. And I would probably go with a center island kitchen.

Please email me at ph3024@bellsouth.net. I have a ton of information on Russ Anderson and Americana RV.
