Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

storage

We are doing the research for the future..in 2 yrs the youngest of our kids will be out of high school.  There was a time in journal you consulted a pro about storage..can you tell me or show in pictures what they changed for you  to give more storage?  We are considering the flat screen tv's and putting a storage area behind them.   We plan on getting out of the cold and into the warm but are exploring all options..especially storage area Anna's parents are full timers and have been for over 15 yrs and we have gotten a lot of info from them but every ones wants and needs differ so we are gathering all we can get.  Thanks for the info in advance.

Hi Gale & Anna,

Here is a link to the pictures of the modifications we had done to our rig.

I went to a place called Organized Living and asked if they had space planner/designers.  They didn't have them on staff, but they gave me a business card for one.  That is who I called to help me get organized.  It was expensive but money wasn't a problem back then.  We still had j-o-b-s.  I am really glad that I did it.

I hope this helps.  Let me know if you want more specific answers.

Thanks Linda. I knew I missed it somewhere.  We won't need anything more specific until we decide on a trailer..now back to planning and dreaming.

We hope to begin our full-timing life on the 31st of Aug.  Haven't sold the house yet but "oh well"  the travel life is calling. Howard and Linda have been such an inspiration and have followed them since they left here(Louisville).  Saw their big write up in the paper.

Looking for any ideas on basement storage organization.  We have a 40' motorhome and always plenty of space but full-timing is a different issue.  Thank you
