Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Intro - Go-nabes

My name is Ken Hoenig and along with my wife Sarah we plan on being full timers by the summer of 2010. Hopefully weekenders beginning next summer. When our kids were young we had a 22' Holiday camper and enjoyed it immensely. But as the kids grew and school activities took over we were camping less and decided to sell it. Fast forward 18 years and I'm ready to do it again. I am three years away from retirement, Sarah is five years younger than me, so I want to go to full retirement age. We know we will work camp and I'm looking forward to that. We managed a retirement facility, 109 apartments with full amenities, we enjoyed that very much. I look forward to being able to experience some of the things the Payne's are doing and being able to visit places with Sarah that she hasn't been before. We like to ride bicycles and go for walks. I read alot, mostly fiction, but I do enjoy biographies also. Sarah has begun making necklaces, she got the idea from Linda Payne.

Sarah's concern with full timing is not being able to visit the grandchildren, 2 boys & 2 girls. I believe we will spend more time with them as full timers than we do now.

Anyway, Howard this is a great idea and since I have read all your journal entries from day one and all the other items on your website I am sure I will read all of these.
