Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Im not giving up!!!

Hello again everyone. i have had a rough patch. I have bought an RV that I fell in love with only I could not get papers for it. So I parked it on my dads property and stayed in it for a year or so and if one thing went wrong everything went wrong. So I donated it to a deer lease for a friend of mine. So I have yet to start my travels. Yesterday I had enough of my travel woes and put my notice in at work. It is for 4 months from now. That will give me time to get everything out of my house and to get all bills squared away. I decided the call of the road is so great if I don't do something soon I will not do it. I will be heading out by September 28, 2018 and living out of my car and a tent. I can no longer stand to be in this sticks and bricks. My question is does any one know of good and safe tent camping areas the could recommend.  Please any info would help a lot. Thanks in advance. smilebiggrin

You are a distance from California but lots of camping sites along U.S. Hwy 395 around Lone Pine and north to the Nevada State line that I consider “safe.”
