At home in Alabama. Don't own an RV yet. We first had a cabin reserved. Now we are renting a TT from a local dealer for the rally that will be delivered and set up on Monday 9/25. The dealer is A&L RV Sales, listed on the River Plantation site and mentioned in RV Dreams email as a dealer who will have units at the rally for touring. We may try to get up to the rally earlier than Monday, to socialize some, and stay in a hotel before moving to the TT. LOTS of planning going into this short learning adventure. 😊

We are now in Tennessee and will stay near Nashville for the next three nights visiting family. We will head over to Sevierville on Friday. Looks like this is going to be so much fun! We've been fulltiming for two whole months now - that of course makes us experts - HA HA HA

Can't wait to meet everyone!

Working our way towards TN after spending 45 days in Maine, New Hampshire, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island as we became full timers leaving Carlisle, PA on 1 Aug -- can't wait to learn what we have been doing wrong for the past two months. 😜...(or at least what we can do smarter and better). Had a blast so far thanks in large measure to Howard and Linda'a wealth of knowledge they so willingly share on their website. currently spending a few days near Appomattox, VA (Twin Lakes State Park) touring civil war sites. Arrive Sunday afternoon and will be on site 431. we will be the ones in the white F350 dually (that looks like the Beverly Hillbillies?) towing an Outback TT. Scott and Sandi Sanborn

We arrived at River Plantation yesterday and got ourselves set up in site 226. Today seems like a good day to get some house cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping done. The everyday living part of being a full-timer.

Hey Scott and Sandi - we've been fulltimers for just 1 week longer than you - so we'll be learning together.

We'll be leaving Tupelo MS on Sunday afternoon and plan to boondock in a Walmart parking lot in Chattanooga on Sunday night. It will be our first time to boondock anywhere, so we thought it would be a good chance to get that experience before we arrive on Sevierville on Monday. Wish us luck!!
