Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Camping near Rapid City, SD

You will find that there are many campground memberships and time share for sale.  Many require that you attend a sales presentation where you are given the opportunity to sign on.  You will later find that the sales price is much higher than you can find by buying from an existing member.  The problem here is that most resorts have a stipulation that if you turned down the offer during the presentation, you are not allowed to purchase a resell membership.  If you are considering purchasing a membership in a resort in the Rapid City, SD area take a look at my offer.  We still use the resort as our home resort so that we have C2C membership, but this summer most likely the last time we come back to Rapid City.

My wife & I are looking to sale or trade our Membership in Midwest Outdoor Resorts which has four resorts.  Rushmore Shadows in the Black Hills of South Dakota, Soo Line Trail Campground near Onamia, MN.  Hidden Bluffs in Spring Grove, MN. and St. Croix River Resort in Hinckley, MN.  New memberships are selling from $7-12K. We are interested in any reasonable offer or a  trade to a more southerly campground.  After your initial investment your only expense is an annual maintenance fee.

Membership in MOR also grants you access to Coast to Coast membership where you can get deep discounted sometimes free stays at campgrounds all around the US. The Midwest Outdoor Resort's concierge is available to help you plan out your entire trip getting the best deals to find vacation bargains, Cruises, Condo Vacations, Luxury RV Resorts, and other Destination Vacations!!

Your ownership will transfer to 3 generations for no additional expense. You can stay at either of the four parks up to 3 weeks straight and then out for 7 days.  This can be repeated through out the year as often as you desire.  Check out their website for more details on the resorts. www.midwestoutdoorresorts.com or email me if you'd like more info. The transfer transaction would be handled by the staff at Rushmore Shadows resort. ($250 transfer fee)

The 2017 maintenance fees have been paid for the year! ($397)

We have moved to Florida and are looking for a  closer home park.   We would be interested to hear from anyone who might have a  membership in a resort in the Southeast who might want to trade memberships.

E-mail me at smtgeg123@centurylink.net if you have any questions or suggestions.e last time we use Rushmore Shadows Resort as we now live in Florida. I am open to all offers.
