Buying a $60,000 used RV Class A going full time, I have called three insurance companies they want 1/12 of the value perhaps I am going to high 250, 500, 300 am I asking for too much coverage? Love to hear from you fulltimers?!

What state/city are you licensing them in? That has a lot to do with the quotes as well as your driving record and credit score.

Rich,

Check around to see that you are getting the best deal.  Some insurance companies will NOT insure someone living in their RV full-time.  We get our insurance through a broker, Miller Insurance out of Oregon, and the company they hooked us up with is National Interstate.  I don't remember the total rate, but it is on our 38 1/2 foot fifth wheel and two vehicles.  In addition, we get a year's membership with Coach-Net for emergency services as part of the rate.

Ditto on the Miller Insurance recommendation. They took care of both the truck and trailer. One stop shopping and great customer service. We have a unique situation as we live half the year in Florida and the other half traveling. Even though the trailer was licensed/titled in Florida we doubt it will ever be in this state. We just store it where we end the season.
