"This is the safest and smoothest riding 5th wheel hitch ever designed and made." Very broad statement. The ET Hitch is better built and extremely smooth. The TSC is a great hitch. But best ever made is a stretch.

If anyone wants to post opinions about OTHER hitches try starting another thread. Hensley stands behind my statements about their product.

Post here if you are interested in getting more information or buying the TS3 hitch and parts in this thread.

Guys…this is like Ford/Chevy/RAM. I like my TSC, Bill likes his Reese or whatever he has, and I'm sure the ET is very nice as well…but in the end they're all fine hitches.

Neil, I don't think the hitch I have is the best made.  It works well in my particular situation, but actually would be a poor choice in your situation with your pin box.  My comment is the TSC in not the finest hitch ever made. Don't know of one that is. They, like all hitches, have their issues and I could name them just like I can name them on the four different hitches I've owned including the one I have now. They meet a particular need and are certainly a fine hitch.  But, they have their issues as does the ET, Reese, etc.  "It depends."

I wasn't suggesting you thought yours was the best made…just this this is sort of a pointless discussion. As long as the user likes it and it's got enough load capacity all is good. I'm sure that that quote about TSCs being the best made came from somewhere…a review or something…since TSC claims it. I guess I'm just not smart enough to understand all the differences you guys that have been pulling RVs for years more than me see…to me it's just a hitch. All have issues…and we've talked about how you like your Reese (or whatever it is) and the reasons for that like. I just don't see it as any better or worse than the TSC…any real debate about merits of various brands (as long as you're within the specs for what you're towing) is like debating whether Firestone  Bosch spark plugs are better…or whether Campbell's Pork and Beans or Bush's are better. It just depends.

I did think that all the discussion about whether the TSC was "best" or not on a classified board was sort of off topic…the guy just wants to sell the thing. If he had asked what brand he should buy to pull his new 5th wheel with…then all this discussion is a whole lot more relevant. But he didn't…so it's really not.
