Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello from Ohio newbie

My name is Marc. Many years ago I had planned to buy a travel trailer and truck and see the USA. I bought the trailer, but before I bought a truck I met my wife, dated, got married, etc. Working construction, I have the opportunity to travel a bit and though we tried moving around together in the 1980s my wife decided it wasn't for her. Fast forward to about 2 years ago. The winters seem to take more of a toll on us now that Arthur Ritis is slowly moving in, and winters in Florida became appealing to the wife! So we ordered a 35-foot trailer just recently and are looking for a sturdy truck to pull it. As close as we are to retirement we really don't like the idea about going that far in debt but feel certain we can pay it off by the time I retire at the age of 62.

I look forward to hearing from you on the forums!

Marc
