Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Which Toy Hauler? Help!!!

I am looking to purchase a toy hauler to live in full time (my two teen daughters will be with me in it 1/2 time).  Right now I am looking at the following:

Heartland Torque 398

Forest River Vengeance 377V

Stellar Eclipse 40TXSG

Every model has really good and really horrible reviews.

The guy selling two at Toy Hauler Liquidators has been odd - and has run hot and cold vs. wanting my business... the Vengeance Dealer (Creative RV) was more attentive but did not follow through (neither one did) with info today and I am a highly motivated buyer on a time crunch.

Any thoughts?  I am new to RVing on top of it so I am learning quickly, but not sure what to ask... things I want:

Toy hauler - for my gym quality recumbent bike I ride 100 miles a week

bunks in the garage for the girls

preferably a bathroom in the garage - bonus if a full bath

w/d hookups

LOTS and LOTS of storage space

Queen bed, NOT king in master and lost of storage

12 cu fridge, but NOT residential - want it to run on gas too

generator with fuel station - power is often lost in our area

solar panel is a plus

How do I choose???

YOU perceive yourself as a "highly motivated" buyer. These two don't. If you lke a unit make an offer...one you can up from. Play the game.

I was ready to put a down payment on one!  Gave them the credit card and they didn't follow through with the charge!  The owner was worried because I live far away and it has to be shipped,  and he had just been burned by another out of town customer... even though that person is in jail and I am gainfully employed!!!   The other one was ready to ship and was supposed to give me a price breakdown today and didn't..... it's ridiculous!  I have to beg for them to sell me something... they should be fighting over my business!
