Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

RV Property for full time living

Hey all. Wifey and I are looking to either lease or buy property/lot in an RV community here in Texas. Someone here, long time ago, posted a place where you can reside full time on a lot or your own property, designed for RVers to live full time. This is not your typical RV park for a two night stay..lol. You can still break down and head out on trips but you always have a home to come back to.

If anyone can direct me to a website or a 'search criteria', I would greatly appreciate it.

Happy Traill's to you all.

Tom and Donna

Hi Tom,

I haven't talked with you guys in a long time, but Ron is correct, Retama Village in Mission TX is an excellent choice. I'm a little biased because I live here, but it really is a wonderful community. There are also some other communities in the Rio Grande Valley I can help you with. Buying and leasing are both options. If you want something starting this fall, there are still a few options available. Send me a message or give me a call and we can talk about some options.

You can look at some lease and sale options at www.retamarentals.com or www.movingwithcarol.com

Look forward to hearing from you!
