Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

No Longer For Sale 2007 C4500 Kodiak Monroe Pickup

Cancelling ad----

Due to some medical issues we will be selling my dream tow vehicle a 2007 Chevrolet C4500 CrewCab Dually upfitted by Monroe.   It only has 15,000 miles yes only 15,000 miles.

I wanted to offer it here first to RV-Dreams forum readers.  Due to the low miles I'm asking $38,000 for the truck.  It is located in Southern California near Los Angeles.

This is a great truck for towing 5th wheels, Toyhaulers, larger TT and gooseneck trailers.

This truck is in very good condition with under 15,000 miles

Metallic Gray color with gray leather interior

Power locks and windows

Full 8' Monroe Pickup bed

B&W Companion 5th wheel with turn over gooseneck hitch, fast and easy to pull out when not towing to be able to use full pickup bed without any obstructions

5th wheel trailer electrical hookup inside bed

Two auxiliary 12V power outlets

2 fuel tanks with automatic transfer single guage readout fill both from the same side

Alcoa Aluminum Wheels with lots of tread on Goodyear tires

Class V receiver hitch with 7

Sprayed on bed liner

Full length stainless steel running boards

Chrome bumpers

Sunroof

Front heated air ride leather captain’s chairs with power recline and lumbar,

Heated leather contoured rear bench seat with power fold down into bed,

Interior ceiling and floor lighting (like a limo)

15" flip down TV in the rear with DVD player and wireless headset

Custom carpet including front and rear floor mats

Grayish (like barn wood) Wood grain door, dash trim, console and steering wheel

LINK Air bag suspension kit (rear air suspension and air chassis lowering kit)--this is great as it lowers truck 4" for hooking up trailers

Auxiliary Trailer brake controller

Engine Block Heater

Air horn

Compression (exhaust) brake

Clear Title

No more "white knuckle" towing;  this is the best truck for towing I've ever used.

It's a great looking truck; turns heads wherever I go.  There are some minor paint issues due to improper prep before trim pieces were painted by Monroe during their conversion.  Both outside mirror housings have been cracked (power mirrors still function).  I reduced the asking price to cover cost to repair (approximately $1400 for both if done by a dealer / $800 for both if you do it yourself.

Larry, that's a great tow vehicle for many trailers.  So sorry you've having to part with it.

Truck is now officially for sale. I've reduced the price after doing some research on similar trucks nationwide.

I can e-mail photos
