Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Gulfstream products

In 2010, I was a proud owner of a new 2010 Gulfstream class A 38 footer, model 8367; we had our problems with that piece of junk since we put it on the road.

We always had problems with extending and retracting our extensions, it was common to us and the hydraulic leveling system was a PITA also. We had it serviced in some piss poor rv shop in Ocala.

Coming back home this spring, we had to get that RV fixed once and for all.

After some intensive inspection, Urgence Roulotte in Trois-Rivieres, QC,  found out that we had a serious water infiltration from the dining area extension; the wall and the floor of that extension had to be rebuilt; infiltration was from the poor joint made by the factory, between the ceiling and outside wall of the extension.

The opposite extension also had some problems retracting... it was found out that the supporting 4 rollers installed under the floor were not installed properly and the 1/2" floor collapsed with the weight of the kitchen extension; so they had to rebuilt the floor.

The final cost was over $20,000 to fix this poor GULFSTREAM piece of **** product.

That's it, thanks for reading me.

My e-mail is normand.legrand@gmail.com if anyone or even GULFSTREAM CIE wants more details of this piece of **** product.

We are looking at a fifth wheel for our future retirement. We've narrowed our selection down to three different brands. The Grand Design Reflection, Dutchman Denali, or Open Range Roamer. Any recommendations?
