Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Update 04/04/2015

biggrin confuse Well folks; Four years back I was transferred from the ICU to a regular room after receiving three stents from my severe heart attack!! I was released on the 6th of April 2012. I am still happy to be amongst the living thanks to some good doctors at the VA facilities here!

wink smileI am slowly getting better at accepting my limitations; finances being the biggest, as I have been praying to find a small enough camper to pull with my Old Ranger Truck. I used to be able to buy fixer-uppers for cheap; but the cheapest I found is in the $1500-2,000 dollar range still in need of major repairs; water leaks and rotted wood; broken cables and canvas replacement on pop-ups; appliances replacements; etc. Still looking as I believe I have a few more camping trips left in me! I am too old too be messing with the tenting option; LOL!

In the mean time I have been saving up and maybe in a couple more years I can afford a 12-14' foot newer TT that lists for $4995.00; and a small vehicle can tow it; as it only weighs 800-1,000 lbs fully loaded! winkwink
