Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Really Excited - Our new F-450!

We had ordered a F-450 in February and it came in yesterday.  What a beautiful truck it is.  I was really surprised to find that it came with many more extras than what I expected.  Also, we bought this truck from a commercial dealer.  It was a great experience and I recommend anyone that is thinking of buying a new truck to track down a commercial outlet.  No dealer fees, no hassles, great upfront bottom line pricing.  It took 30 minutes to complete the order for the truck and when it came in, it took about 15 minutes to complete the paperwork and I was driving it off the lot. We bought ours at Rush Trucking in Orlando, Fl.  We are now waiting on our Arctic Fox 32-5M to be delivered in PA in a month or so...  I hope it is OK that I posted this here.

It's beautiful! Did you go to Florida to do the deal?

Beautiful tuck but I don't like the hips design on Fords.

Not quite sure what you mean by 'hips' design on Fords? There again, for some reason the truck pic in the first post just shows a question mark on my Mac computer! If you mean rear fenders over dually wheels...I know what you mean, as I have an '09 F450 with 'contoured' fender/over rear dually wheels which in 'my' opinion are much much nicer. I honestly wouldn't own one with the current round over wheel fenders, but that's just me, but LOVE my '09 for comfort on the road driving. Power to spare and pulls a load at pretty well any speed I wish while loaded. Had my previous Ford (an '95 with the 7.3 diesel) for 17 years, and it was as good the day I sold it, as it was the day I bought it off the lot new! No complaints at all on that one. I 'did' have to just put in a new fuel system on this one (expensive - no warranty) but otherwise it's been a good truck as well with giving it good maintenance.

Dually LDT has hips. What else do you call a bulge at the rear? Or at least on an open forum.
