Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

RV Park Recommendation in Tucson

Any recommendations for where to stay in Tucson for 3+ months for individuals under 55?? I am a traveling physical therapist and my husband and I live in our RV full-time. We are looking for a place with full hookups, water, sewer. The works (and trying to not spend a fortune). After spending hours on the web doing research on different locations, it seems like all of the places with higher ratings are strictly 55+ communities. I would greatly appreciate any recommendations! Thanks :)

Since you are adults and have no children, some of these 55+ parks should be able to accommodate you. 55+ parks need to have some under 55 to be legal. Give them a call and find out. I suspect Justin's Diamond J will accommodate you.

I second Diamond J's. Doc and Christine are very nice and accommodating. You'll be happy there if it isn't too far from your job.

Another vote for Diamond J's. Nice place, not fancy.
If you want a more resorty feel, Voyager is great. Nice pool, lots to do.
Price may depend on the time of year. They are really booked Jan-March, but have more room before that.

We also like Diamond J RV Park. We stay there before we enter Mexico for the Winter. They have a storage area at the back of the park where we leave our motorhome while we are in Mazatlán. Storage cost is only $38.00 per month.

The owners are very nice people and Christine really keeps the place looking like a desert garden. It's a nice quiet place on the edge of the Saguaro Desert. There are great hiking trails into the desert from the back of the park.

Thank you so much for all of the recommendations! Diamond J RV Park would have been my number one... just too far out of town (only one car that we have to share, to commute to separate jobs... too much of a hassle if we can't bike to our job!). We ended up choosing Tra-tel RV Park... we were nervous to say the least, it didn't get great reviews. But it has been wonderful :) Again, I appreciate all of the suggestions and support!
