Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

We've Made The Decision To Full-time

Well, we sold our home with 3 offers on the first day it was listed. (Yes!!)
After christmas we will head for Q
uartzsite Arizona and hope to see some of you there.
We will be leaving Michigan on 1/8/2015 on the house closing I hope, we will also be leaving debt free (wahoo). Like God said, be faithful to him and he will be faithful to you!!
We are in Kalamazoo Mi. by our in inlaws. We are using their electric 15 amp breaker, I hooked up a 30 amp line to the 5th wheel, was getting old snapping the 15 amp breaker at midnight (oops!!) sounds funny now but was not at the time.
We have one heater running and the electric fireplace and have gone through 3/30 pounds tanks of propane, I also bought a 20 pound tank of propane for back up, furnace is a gas hog was set on 68%.
I find no joy in a camper in the winter, do you hear me Michigan, stay away in the winter, I hope this is my last winter!!

Hi Lonnie & Angela,

Happy for you in selling your business & home. Now it is count down time to get out of the cold and head for the warm.

We were able to leave our home in Bethany, MO on Thanksgiving day and head to south Texas. We're now located in the Beeville, TX area, just 60 miles NW of Corpus Christi, TX.

I do hope your time in MI will be busy so that time will go fast for you folks. After reading Angela post sometime back, I know that she will enjoy the freedom that this life brings. We have only been here a total 4 days and it's just sinking in " hey we're free ".

Still have the Ranchette to sell and we will up-grade to motorhome when it sells. But, we here we are and enjoying every minute.

Larry

Congrats Lonney and Angel....you will not have any regrets as you will find out how much this lifestyle gives you the freedom from the grind!

We will be in Q around 1/11 for the Circling of the Montana's and then will probably hang out in the La Posa LTVA until mid March....maybe we will run into you out there...

Safe travels and GOD Speed on your new journey!

Hey Bigboomer, when you said, We will be in Q around 1/11 for the Circling of the Montana's and then will probably hang out in the La Posa LTVA until mid March.
Can Everest 5ther come into the circling and play with the Montanan's or is it for Montanans' only.

Hey, Congrats!

I think of you guys every time I do laundry!  We won't be in AZ until April. Hopefully we'll see you both again if you're still there.

Congrats on the home sale and retiring! Hopefully we'll get to meet in Q, we'll be there in Jan for a couple of weeks, and then again in March. Plans are still a little "fuzzy" due to work schedules.
