Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Looking for Chaplain job

I am an ordained Pastor with ministry experience in counseling, nursing homes, jail and prisons, and working with the homeless.  I'm looking for work in a rv park doing non-denominational workship services, bible studies, and counseling, preferably for a rv site.

Welcome. I'm not sure this will be of much help but if you watch: www.coolworks.com you might find something. Right now, I searched for "chaplain" and it only came up with positions at a couple of YMCA camps but if you keep watch there, something might come up. We subscribe to Workamper News and I don't recall seeing anything lately advertised there. I came across a website called www.RVchurchesUSA.org that you might look at.  I came across this also:  www.thebridge.namb.net/.  I have a couple of books with listings.  Another idea is that if you join Workamper News, you can run "Situations Wanted", and I think if you stay under a certain amount of words there isn't a cost when you are a member.

I have seen ads for Christian retreats and children's camps here and there over time but I am not sure exactly what you would be looking for.  Hopefully someone that stays at larger RV parks might have some ideas.

Good luck in finding something that is a fit for you.

Check California State Parks. Couple a years back, I saw an ad wanting chaplains for exactly what you're looking for.
