Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

I've recently purchased a teardrop camper and I remember at the Spring Rally (2014) someone was demonstrating a trailer trolly.  I could really use that now.  Do any of the Spring Rally attendees remember what the product was?

I'm actually the last one to answer your question as I didn't attend the rally.  However, an option you might have is taking the dates of the rally and going to look at Howard and Linda's journal entries for that rally.  Who knows, there might even be a picture.

not sure if this is correct or not but my first thought when reading your post is one of these http://www.harborfreight.com/heavy-duty-trailer-dolly-69898.html I have one for my motorcycle cargo trailer and it works good when needing to move it around by hand. Should this not be what you were wanting, please disregard.

Here's a follow up on my earlier comment.  I went back to Howard and Linda's journal entries for the rally and there was no mention of the dolly nor a picture, so kindly ignore what I said before.

 This is one option I did find.  The one I saw at the rally was a little more compact.

 Thanks!!!  This past weekend was my first time out with it.  And it was fun and relaxing.   Full timing is few a years away and I decided I didn't want to buy something motorized that would be stored for 6 months out of the year.  I like it.

I'm not sure what a trailer trolley is but I'm guessing it's something you use to lift up the tongue of the trailer and then allows you to move the trailer around. If that's what you are looking for, my dad used a two wheeled hand truck (dolly), the kind used for moving a stack of boxes.

He'd place a jack stand under the tongue and raise the tongue jack so that the trailer was resting on the jack stand.
He would place the plate of the hand truck just behind the tongue jack and push down on the hand truck to lift the trailer off of the jack stand. Move the jack stand and then with help pushing he would move the trailer into or out of it's parking space. It worked great for light weight trailers. For heavier trailers it would take two us pushing down on the hand truck.

He used a solid tire hand truck.
