Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

RE: Advice from experienced workampers please

Bless and thank you you Sherry & Cheryl, encouragement certainly needed and appreciated!

The weather is finally  too beautiful to worry about one darn thing, it's summer in Oregon and it's the best Summer Concert week of the summer. So far this week 3 concerts down: Lisa Mann (Jazz in Newberg), Michael Allen (pianist in Sherwood, QuarterFlash (of I'm going to harden my heart fame) Tonight rock violinist Aaron Meyer! All free under our beautiful summer skies and great [ark venues!

LeO,

You are only just one step away from where me and DH are (started almost 3 years ago). Need to sell the house first before we can buy our new home on wheels. We're not on the market yet as we still need to do a bit more cosmetic upgrades to make it more attractive (otherwise, we'd end up selling an "as is" house and not even make enough to pay off the mortgage). It just takes so much time and money.

But I refuse to give up The Dream! Every day I participate in this forum and I continue my research; there's always more to learn. I look at floorplans and photos and imagine living there. Even when I wash my dishes or clean the house, I imagine that I am doing so in the RV and try to picture how I would do things differently. I feel that if I didn't do this, the dream would slowly start to slip away and I don't want that to ever happen! I want this lifestyle and it WILL happen when it's meant to.

Good luck to you!

biggrin Cheryl: Love your upbeat attitude; The Rv life will come to you. You are very positive and this is what it takes!!! Go Girl!!!
