Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Aqua Magic Galaxy Starlite SH going to Aqua Magic V?

I have the original Aqua Magic Galaxy Starlite. I need to replace two parts, totalling around $65. I'd rather replace the toilet for double that, so I'm looking at this Aqua Magic V. What do I look as far as bolt patterns to make sure this one will work?

I would have the dealer or supplier cross reference the footprint......odds are because they are from the same mfg that the print is identical......most have a universal footprint

Great idea, I'll call Camping World tomorrow, and act as though I'm buying one from them. I know they have one in stock, and it's foot flush at $150, so I may actually get it from them, since the one online for $125 is a hand flush.

Hand flush units are usually a 2 step type and save water if you are in the boondocking mode

If you go to this SITE
you can download a chart that shows which Thetford and Sealand toilets replace the one you have. It gives some dimensions of the various models and indicates which ones are direct replacements. Of course the water line might have to lengthened or shortened.

I opted for the Bravura. It has been in use for about several years now and been trouble free.
It is a much thicker molding than my old AquaMagic IV and is much sturdier. The bowl is deeper and longer than the old one.

Also, instead of cables it uses rods in the flushing mechanism. The cables were the weak link in my AquaMagic .
