Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Fall Rally

howard, just wanted to ask you about the fall rally. do you have a limit? we love the great smokies, ashville, gatlinburg, the old mill et.al., but i still work, for myself, but still october is a long way off and we might want to fit it into our schedule but not able to tell right now. ran into a fellow rv-dreamer in st. augustine a couple of weeks ago, who said they knew you  personally and have great times at the rallys. they were hooking-up as we were setting up at the elks lodge so i didn't catch their names or my crs disease kicked in, not sure. anyway just wondering and may camp near-by and attend some of the functions. thanks, mark

Hey Mark,

Due to the demand at that time of year, we were only able to get 27 RV sites and, as of today, there are only eight left.  Of course, it is permissable to stay at another location and attend the Rally.  Hope to see you there ... or at the Spring Rally in Tennessee next year.  :)

LOL.  :)

Yes, Jim.  We're already booked at River Plantation RV Park in Sevierville, TN for Spring 2014 (same place as Spring 2011).  It's scheduled for April 29 - May 4, 2014.

We posted the dates in a Journal entry earlier this year so folks could plan, but it will be a little while before we open registration.  For that one, we have reserved 60 RV sites and all the cabins.

We'll try to keep it to a max of about 150 people, but last time we ended up with 170 when it was there.  :)
