Well, I'll have to go looking, although my photos won't be from RV'ing as we are still "static" full-timers.  In the meantime, Bill, where was that third photo from high above taken?  Were you on a mountain or in an aircraft of some kind?

Not sure what we are doing, so our pictures are on our web album.  I couldn't resist including our 2011 visit to Goosenecks State Park in Utah as well.

Wow, how did I miss this thread? I LOVE seeing people's photos, and love trying to take my own.

This was taken at Steptoe Butte in Idaho.

One more: last summer the Motorcycle Cannonball went from NY to San Francisco, this was an antique motorcycle event with the newest bike allowed being 1930, the latest model actually entered was a 1929 Harley. This was basically a road rally with a set course, no maps, no GPS allowed, just a scroll sheet with "turn left, go 5.7 miles, turn right" kind of directions. Make a wrong turn and you could be totally lost very quickly. There were riders from all over the world: UK, Poland, South Africa, Italy, Australia.

I caught up with the riders in central Iowa, and followed them for 5 days to Devils Tower WY. I would probably have followed them all the way to the West coast if I hadn't had a prior commitment to drive with my daughter to Spokane, so I had to turn around in WY. It was truly amazing to see these bikes going down the road, and some of them were cruising along at nearly 70 mph! This particular shot was taken in Norbeck Pass in the Badlands, the bike is a 1913 Excelsior that won the event 2 years previously. Notice the pedals instead of footpegs. This one also had an aftermarket front brake, it was a rubber roller that pressed down on the front tire.

Caryn,

Back when I was stationed in Northern California in the '60's, we set up and operated a similar rally, but it involved both automobiles and motorcycles.  At some points of the route, the participants had to do certain things, and they were secretly observed.  At one overlook, the driver (or motorcycle operator) had to walk over to the edge of the overlook while the passenger had to circle the vehicle three times.

The real drawback of that rally was that the overlook observer had the misfortune of lying down in Poison Ivy.  I and another fellow had to take him to a hospital instead of going on to the party at the beach at the end of the rally.

Since then, I don't do rallies.

On our blog, www.puppypaths.blogspot.com,  are lots of photos of our travels. Recent photos of "Florida Key's chickens", an iguana upclose and sunsets. We enjoy seeing lots of other people's photos also.

Just joined this website tonight and found this thread. I enjoy looking at all kinds of photographs and take quite a few myself. Just bought an RV so will visit this area often.
