hairspray

Am I losing my mind, which is entirely possible, or did I read that hairspray should not be used inside your rv?  I don't even remember what the reasoning would be.

Being follically challenged smile I can't comment on hair spray specifically but I know that aerosols of any kind will set off our propane detector.  We make sure to put on insect repellents and sun screens outside.

Hairspray should not be used anywhere I am sure my mother would disagree

Duh, I guess it was the aeorsal can and not the hairspray itself that I was thinking about.  I use a pump hairspray and not too much G!!!

I have used my Pam spray in the kitchen though with no problem.

It is the little everyday things that I am finding out that I have to stop and think about.

We have been in the 5er for a week now and still in the honeymoon stage!

Thanks for your answers

It all depends on the delivery method. Pam, since it will normally be used near a stove, will not contain any hydrocarbons. Hairspray, may or may not contain hydrocarbons. It all depends on what the propane detector THINKS might be a gas leak. That rascal screaming in the middle of the night when DW has put on a pot of beans to soak is disturbing, to say the least.

Granny, We've been in our 5er now almost a year and it still feels like the "honeymoon stage"! We love it, though we're not full timers. DH retired after the first of the year and we've been the little house a lot more than the big one! PK
