Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

I have drafted a couple of frequent contributors to the Forum to moderate posts while Linda & I are gone.  They will have the ability to edit and delete posts that are spam or not in line with the overall good nature of this Forum.  They will also have the ability to change usernames upon request.

If my draftees choose to accept their nomination, I'm sure they will soon post on this thread.  If not, I may need another volunteer or two before we leave the country tomorrow morning (Oct. 6).  smile

Please have patience with anyone that undertakes this challenge.  It ain't easy.  biggrin

Terry here.  While I am a complete newby as far as moderating forums are concerned, I have accepted the honor of being one.  I really doubt that I will have to do much, as most of the time everyone is on extremely good behavior, and that is appreciated.  Thanks to all of you for that.

Howard mentioned that those chosen as moderators could change usernames.  However, I have had to ask him for information as to how that is done since there is one couple wishing to change theirs.  Please be patient until we have a chance to find out how to do it.

With that in mind, if you wish for your username to be changed you can either leave a new comment asking that or, better yet, send me a message via the private message feature with your old username and the username you wish to use in the future.  Once I know for sure how to make the changes, I will be contacting the one couple with the request already made unless they contact me first.

Not only am I here to serve Howard and Linda, but I'm also here to serve all participants.  Hopefully, I can do a good job for you.  Please be patient with me.

Hello gang, I have moderated before on another professional forum, Howard has asked me to help out as a moderator on this forum and I am happy to help out any way I can. I am sure Terry and I will support each other in figuring things out. Our goal is to allow Howard and Linda to enjoy the well needed vacation they have coming up, without worrying about the RVD's family.We can do that...G
