Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Defeated COE in TN

Could we make a list of the Dreamers who will be at Defeated COE in October??  and could we get another surprise visit from Howard and Linda?

Don/Jenny - Oct 10,11, and 12

As a newbie, can I ask what "Defeated COE" is? :)

I didn't know what it was either so I googled it.  It is a campground, Defeated Creek Park (COE) in TN.  Defeated Creek Park Campground is located on Cordell Hull Lake on the Cumberland River System.

We have reservations for the 13th-17th but that may fall through if Stu has to get his knee scoped before we leave MD. We'll know in another 10 days or so.

Would like to know what the activity is at Defeated Creek in October.  Live in Nashville and would like to participate, but, didn't know anything about it.  There doesn't seem to be anything on the calendar.

Perhaps a subheading for member get togethers would be appropriate.

I happened to be in the Chatroom the other day when some folks were talking about this get together. As I understand, it's an informal gathering of RV-Dreams Familiy Members, but still not clear on all the details.

This gathering is just an informal get together of friends and some of the RV-Dreams group. "HEMBREE" invited a few of us to visit her while she is on her Fall break from school. We will be there from Oct 6 - Oct 20th. No planned activities, but just fun, food and lots of visiting! Anyone is welcome, but by the looks of their website, www.recreation.gov (Defeated Creek COE at Carthage, TN) they are booked to capacity right now. It would be great to see Howard & Linda again.
